To all my wonderful family and friends...

Thank you for all the love, support, and tears you have offered and given to my family and I when the days have been rough. I can't thank you enough for the carpooling, rides everywhere, and even trips to the store for me. I wouldn't be where I am today if it weren't for all of you.

Who Should Drive?

It is 12:53 am, and I am still sitting at my computer. Why I can't sleep, I don't know. It has to be, because I am thinking of a funny experience that I have to share. It was an ordinary afternoon a couple of months ago, and I get a phone call from my sister Nicole. I answered the phone to her crying and quite simply freaking out. I finally understood her telling me that her knee cap popped out of place again, and that I needed to run down the street to help her with Kamryn (Ryn). I ran out the door as quickly as I could to her house down the street. That is amazing, because have you ever seen me run? Once there, we decided it would be easier if we went back to my house, because Madi and Zach were still there. Now obviously she couldn't walk, so we had to drive. Now this is the part that keeps running through my head....
Picture the two of us yelling, yes yelling, about which one of us was going to drive her car. Her right knee was jacked up, and well, you know my situation. Should someone have walked by her front door, they would have been a little alarmed at the commotion. Well I won, and yes, I got to drive down the street in a car without my driver's license. Loved it, probably because I don't normally win an argument with my little sister.

I would have loved to have seen that go down.. pretty funny. So between you being up at almost 1am and me being up for the day at 2am... we got about an hour last night! Come over for waffles anytime! Infact Whitney told me how delicious belgian waffles are with icecream and strawberries on top! Ever since she mentioned it I have been craving it, so I say we get the hood together and have a breakfast/dessert party! p.s. I also got an icecream maker for my birthday so homemade icecream on top of the waffles... sounds pretty good! p.s. I have to find out how the whole fence thing went down.

That's classic. Couldn't you have just picked her up and thrown her over your shoulder and carried her down the block a bit?

You can put up a good fight Jen, so it's no surprise to me you won :)! If you ever want to sharpen up on your driving skills and break the law...you know where to find me! Love the David Cook song, especially when he closes his eyes and signs to US :), thank goodness for DVR so those who have no life can re-watch his chill producing performances. HAHAHA! I was going to work on not calling past 11:00, but I saw what time you posted on your blog, so I don't feel bad calling you in the middle of the night, I always check for lights...well, not really I'm too lazy to get off the couch and look out the window. Anyhow, I love your blog, you've made it really cute and I love reading your posts..you make me laugh!

Jen, I love it when you win. It makes me remember that spark you have. It comes out at the most random times. I love it and it makes me laugh...good medicine. I love the sister in the hood. You need to be nice or I can tell all those sister stories. There are so many. Nice blog. It makes me smile to see those cute little faces.

Whatever I totally let you win!! If my knee wouldnt have been dangeling on the side of my leg I would have been able to drive, but to be honest it was totally worth letting her drive . . . she was glowing. Oh the little things that excite her. We love you!
